Friction-aire ovens -- like all Blue M equipment -- come complete, ready to perform as specified. The various accessories Blue M has available for these chambers add a dimension of service or function for meeting a number of special needs. Your Blue M representative is equipped to explain these items in detail.

Special stainless steel side walls

FRICTION-AIRE work chambers can be provided with easily removable solid stainless steel side walls. These cause the major portions of circulating air to by-pass the workload. This provides the equivalent of a gravity unit to allow the processing of powders or other loads that could be affected by high velocity airflow. Since these side walls will tend to interfere with the basic Friction-Aire principle, they will cause a reduction of approximately 30% in the available heat input of the oven. An increase in run up time and a reduction in maximum practical operating temperature will result.

Spring-wound monitoring recorders

These recorders are available to monitor and record chamber performance. They are not connected electrically or mechanically to the control system but operate independently and directly in response to actual chamber conditions. These are dual scale instruments with either one or seven day movement.
